Oh goodie! I can't wait to see what you do with it & the color you use. I've got a GIANT computer armoire in our family room that is maple & I want to paint it... I was thinking green... but I'm a bit afraid with such a big piece... waiting here with anticipation for your finished project!
oh it's gorgeous and I know you will ADD to that gorgeousness!!! Can't wait to see the finished product and drool all over my keyboard!
That is a gorgeous piece. I look forward to seeing the finished project.

That's gorgeous!! I'm jealous, depending on how much you paid. ;) I have waring voices in my head whenever I get a new piece. One says "Paint it bold and artistically!" and one says "Go it safe! Make sure someone will buy it!" The second usually wins out, unfortunately. ;)
Great piece, can't wait to see the transformation!
Wow! I wasn't seeing green when I first saw it, can't wait to see what YOUR finished vision looks like. I'm looking forward to it! It really is a nice piece of furniture, it would be hard not to keep it!
What a great find. That green looks like "Turkey Hill Green" that Martha Stewart has her home painted with. Very pretty!
My birthday is next month...I have been wanting a buffet, with queen-anne-ish legs and crystal nobs. Hmmmm....(JK...kinda haha) :)
What a great find! Oh, I do love Craigslist...I can't wait to see how it turns out!

I love all the inspiration photos and green is my favorite color. Your buffet is going to be AMAZING! ~Liz
P.S. Sorry for the double post.
I have a piece like this in my media room that we have been using for overflow liquor :) and glassware. It was part of a two piece set that Mike and I bought for $150 dollars ( for both pieces) when we were first married. They are both in great shape and I wondered if I should paint them. They are a bit of a yawn as they stand now and could use some pizazz but I have been considering selling this piece and buying something that would serve my storage purpose a bit better. Ahhh. To paint or not to paint that is the question. :) Can't wait to see what you do with this. Inspire away.

can't wait to see this redo. There is a buffet I have been considering buying but it has to be refinished. I'd love a little inspiration.
I'm dying to paint something green! I SHOULD have painted a bookcase green, even my fiance suggested it, but I went with black. I may paint my office chair green ;) I can't wait to see what you come up with.
I like it all ready!

Oh I can see it! It will be stunning decked out in green!
That is going to be fantastic!
you know green is my favorite color!!!!! love it. can't wait to see the finished product!
This buffet is exactly like one I painted for my daughter. It was originally my parent's buffet and was stained mohogany. I painted it Ben Moore's Guilford Green, a historical color, and glazed it with a brown glaze. My daughter's house was featured in Better Homes and Gardens, Feb.
2008. The buffet is partially pictured in the dining room. It turned out great!!
The buffet also appeared in a later issue,Nov. 2009, with a close-up. Check it out. Maybe this can give you an idea of how it would look in a green color!
What a lucky girl you are with that find ! Love it !
Kammy
That is going to be so fab!! Love the green. :) It has really nice lines too. I'm visiting from Rhoda's Thrifty Treasures party. :)
Its going to look great green...I painted one of these white and I can't believe how good it turned out.
I can't wait to see the finished buffet! I found your blog a couple of weeks ago through Southern Hospitality's Thrifty Treasures and I immediately added it to my favorites. Your work is beautiful.

Can't wait to see how you turn it into a work of art!
Isn't Craigslist great. I love this buffet and it's beautiful curves. Can't wait to see what you do with it. I just painted a vintage dresser the same green as the buffet in the second picture. It's now my kitchen island and I'm loving the color.
